Let It Go and Just BE

Let It Go and Just BE

In 1969 Teacher, Jess Lair, privately published a book titled I Ain’t Much Baby—But I’m All I’ve Got.  This book contained quotes which his students wrote on cards for him during his classes. The saying which he obtained from one student, which is now a well-known quote, was:

If you want something very, very badly, let it go free.  If it comes back to you, it’s yours forever.  If it doesn’t, it was never yours to begin with.

This quote is a guide for creating success.  You first have to know what you want for success and be clear on it.  Then you need to have a strong desire or compelling reason for having that success.  This brings it into the mind as thoughts and feelings of success.

Having created this focus and desire in your mind, you need to just sit with the thoughts and feelings of what is already being created.  As you focus on being in that state of having what you want, you will discover a connection with it that will bring it into your reality.

You can connect with the thoughts and the feelings through meditation, hypnosis or just shutting your eyes and imaging what you want.  Creating is really a journey rather than the destination.  It is a journey of you learning to be with what you have created and feeling positive and connected with it.

As the saying above says, if you want something bad enough, you need to let it go.  It is when you don’t let it go that you begin to interfere with what you are creating. That interference can be thinking about all the things you need to do to create it and rushing in and doing them.  If you do this, you are not connecting with the state of being in the creation or the journey of creating.  Instead you are assuming you are in control of the creation process, whereas really you are only a puppet in the whole creating process.

By letting go of the need to take action to create what you want and just connecting to it, as if it already existed, allows you to be open to the creation process. This helps you be open to finding those opportunities and tasks that will appear at the right time for you to act on, to bring your success into reality.

Just like a baby in the womb that grows as you do your normal daily tasks, so too will your success grow to reality as you do your normal daily tasks and focus on being in the state where you have what you want.

The question for you is “can you let go of the need to control the creation process and let it be, or do you need to learn to let go of control?”  That feeling of needing to be in control all the time stops you from focusing on the important piece of just being and allowing the creation process to work.  So, let it go and just BE.

In our NLP Practitioner 8 day training we cover many areas.  One is the area of Hypnosis.  Once you learn to do self-hypnosis you will find that just being and letting go of control or the need to interfere becomes a lot easier.
